These are the main areas of legal services provided by our Firm:

 

Consumer Rights:

We challenge credit card debt collection abuses, predatory lending practices, rescue scams, hospital bill litigation, and other unfair and deceitful trade practices.


Housing Rights:

We challenge actions which deplete supply of affordable housing for low income community, particularly government actions to remove deep subsidies. We also enforce the Section 8 and public housing tenants’ rights of those who are being harmed by systemic abuse.


Fair Housing:

We enforce the Fair Housing Act and advocate for the full implementation of civil rights for persons with developmental, mental and physical disabilities, especially the right of persons with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the communities of their choice.


Disability Rights/Special Education:

We litigate cases to increase the civil rights of people with disabilities, and challenge discriminatory practices by government agencies, businesses, and educational institutions. To represent children with disabilities to assure they receive appropriate public education designed to meet their unique needs, to prepare them for employment and independent living, and to ensure that the rights of children with disabilities and their parents are protected.
