MISSION STATEMENT: The Legal Advocacy Center of Central Florida, Inc. (LACCF) is a non-profit non-Legal Services Corporation
restricted law firm dedicated to advocating and protecting consumer's and children's rights in Florida Legal Services Region III.

CLIENT ELIGIBILITY & ACCEPTANCE GUIDELINES:

  • Client eligibility:     limited by income and age restrictions set by grantors
  • Geographic Area:  Florida legal Services Delivery Systems, Region III except for class 
    action lawsuits which may encompass areas outside Region III
  • Case Acceptance: Two Prong "Impact Case" Test - (1) affects or could potentially 
    affect significant segments of the eligible population, and (2) achieves or potentially 
    could acheive relatively permanent progress in protecting and advancing the rights and 
    entitlements and living conditions of those affected.

We are a proud recipient of funds from the Florida Bar Foundation and we are also able to collect attorneys fees from opposing parties. Nonetheless, our services are free of charge to our clients.

In order to obtain free assistance, you must be eligible for services by meeting guidelines that are very similar to those of our state agencies. These guidelines are based primarily on income, assets, and household size. We will be happy to speak with you to determine if you are eligible for free services.


We are located in Sanford, FL, but we serve eligible clients in twelve counties: Brevard, Citrus, Flagler, Hernando, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Putnam, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia, through an understanding with Community Legal Services of Mid- Florida, Inc.. "Impact matters" are issues that:

  • Affect, or could potentially affect, significant segments of the eligible population, and;
  • Achieve or potentially could achieve relatively permanent improvement in legal rights or basic living conditions of those affected.
